Our Steps

At the onset, Khushee will organize the following…
It will organize outreach programmes – Aaj Khushee Hai / Aaj Khusheer Din : A day we share with underprivileged children with the sole objective to make them happy on that day. All activities planned are revolving around this, and participative in nature. This will be held at several locations all over Kolkata and different days.
Subsequently we plan to organize a Khushee Mela celebrating Children’s Day every year at least once, bringing in all the participating children of the preceding Khushee day[s] organized, spot talents in education, sports, music, arts and other vocations. It will also be a platform to showcase their talent through live performances, exhibitions and competitions.
The movement also aims to find through Khusheer Khoze talents and passion of the children in different vocational skills. We will encourage them to use both IT based and on-IT based methods to hone their skills, with the support of our mentors.
The movement will regularly organize Khushee Workshops: interactive sessions with intermediaries, social workers, teachers, child psychologists to constantly update our programme initiative and regular monitoring of the project through external audit.
Project Addressed to:
Underprivileged children in Kolkata initially, and then extend to other parts of West Bengal as well as India.
Age Group : 4 years – 10 years. Older age group will be included as per merit of the case.
